Frequently Asked Questions
-
Am I required to have my actual birth videotaped?
-
No, you can specify what you want
included and excluded from your videotape.
-
If I have my birth videotaped and decide later that I don’t want that on my
DVD, do I have to keep it?
-
No, each client is given an opportunity to view a rough copy of the DVD
before the final production. At that
time, clients are encouraged to make any changes that will make them
comfortable and happy with the product.
-
What happens if my doctor has specific requirements about video during
birth?
-
Physicians and medical staff always have the final say.
The restrictions they have are for the well being of the mother and the
child. These are followed without
question. We ask that we are told in
advance of the specific restrictions regarding videotaping during birth.
-
Do you provide video for other events other than labor and delivery?
-
Yes, we offer videography of many events surrounding the birth of a new
baby. These include but are not limited
to baby showers, religious events and baby’s homecoming.
-
Can I keep the original videotape of my event?
-
Yes, for a small additional fee, the original tapes are provided to the
families to do with whatever they like.
